User Guide: Single Course App
Welcome to your learning platform. This guide explains how to manage your course and track your progress.
Course Overview Page
Route: /a/course_overview/
This is the introduction page for the course. It provides all the necessary information before a student begins.
What can you do here?
- View the course title, description, and instructor name.
- Check the total duration and number of modules.
- Enroll: If not yet a student, click the enrollment button to join.
- Start Learning: If already enrolled, click this to go straight to your modules.
Modules Page
Route: /a/modules/
This is the primary learning interface where students interact with course content and track their completion.
Learning Actions
- Watch module videos and read study materials.
- Use the sidebar to jump between different modules.
- Navigate using "Next" and "Previous" buttons.
- Mark modules as Completed to save your progress.
Completion Tracking
- Monitor your progress via the top visual progress bar.
- Once 100% finished, a celebration message appears.
- Click View Certificate to see your achievement.
- Download your certificate as an image for your records.
Admin Dashboard
Role Required: Admin
Route: /a/admin_dashboard/
1. Manage Content Tab
Used to build and edit the course structure.
- Update course details like title, instructor, and duration.
- Add new modules by providing a title, description, and order.
- Edit or Delete existing modules.
- Upload video content directly to specific modules.
2. Track Progress Tab
Used to monitor how students are doing.
- View a table of all enrolled students.
- See which modules each student has finished.
- Check overall completion status at a glance.
Summary of Workflows
Student Path
Enroll via Overview → Learn in Modules → Mark Completed → Get Certificate.
Admin Path
Set Course Info → Create Modules → Upload Videos → Monitor Student Progress.
